SILA School provides free, quality education to underserved communities in Pakistan, helping children develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to transform their lives.
Our students ready for a new day of learning
At SILA School, we believe that education is a fundamental right, not a privilege. Our mission is to provide free, quality primary education to underprivileged children in Pakistan, breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering the next generation to build brighter futures.
Delivering excellent teaching using innovative methods that engage children regardless of prior education.
Creating equal opportunities for every child regardless of gender, background, or economic circumstance.
Nurturing not just academic skills but emotional intelligence, creativity, and resilience that last a lifetime.
Pakistan has 25 million out of school children. All these children have individual talents and qualities that deserve to be polished and presented to the world. SILA is just a project doing bare minimum. However, I strongly believe that if we all put in a small effort like this, we can create a meaningful change together

In 2014, I started an activity with my daughter and called it "Do Something Good Every Sunday". We started by distributing small gifts in the nearby marginalized communities. There was a very quick realization that a few candies and toys will not fix the problems of these beautiful children.
I brainstormed with some likeminded friends and came up with an idea that we should try and educate some of these kids. What started off as a small gesture of giving back, soon turned into a proper school that helps students from the most-affected segments of the society.
